Now why would I waste my time trying to prove something that I do not believe is the case any longer? Seems like a poor use of my time to me. The only thing that concerns me now is that I know that our economy is not going to respond to all of this stimulus nearly as quickly as people hope, and so Obama will likely go down in history as being a lousy President just as Carter did. Nevermind the fact that one cannot control any of the events that one inherits from a group of fiscal reprobates -- which is what I believe Republicans have become right now. I mean you've increased the size of the federal government by 43%, and that's completely unnecessary. Also we gave you this nation in 1981 with a debt of $0.54 trillion when Carter left office and now that debt is close to $11 trillion, plus a humongous deficit to which the costs of these wars has not yet been added. In other words, Republican tax and deregulation policies have all but destroyed this iteration of America which I call the New Deal Era. In this Era we created the single most powerful nation of the face of the planet and we dominated the world. Let's see you jaspers and jasperillas do as well, all right? I'm betting against since you also managed to outsource our entire Industrial Base. We lead this world in one area only and that happens to be High Tech. Period.

Note: Because of the terrible financial condition of this nation any fool who attempts to introduce a New National Health Care Plan is a moron! Since Obama is far from being that, he's not going to do that at all. Indeed he's been moving to the center just as Clinton did. Since I'm in the center politically speaking that's the right place for me to be. You must want this nation further right. I believe that your wish will be granted here in fairly short order.

Whoa there Kingfish. Ask me a specific question instead about any subject before you throw me into a class of people that you have pre-definded already. Now that's a cheap shot and I suspect in my case that you know it too. What "received wisdom" are you referring too? Any information that does not comport with literal belief in the Bible or what exactly? I am a Christian you know.

So I vote and I wait - the socialist justification's pretzel logic will finally be put on full display with this administration. Should actually be quite entertaining truth to tell.

It should mark the end of the New Deal Era in my estimation. So? America will just move on just as she always has since we were founded in 1787 -- the time our Constitution was presented to us! What's so bloody radical about that?

This might be true. Certainly the rednecks that I've known in my life are not all that interested in the co-mingling of races. Obama did not need them this time, however, because the money making machine he put together outstripped everyone this time including John McCain and Sarah Palin. Still, running on a platform of "Change" is pretty weak in my estimation. Why? Because it does not in any way differentiate itself from it's opposition. Hence, because it's so very general, it's almost impossible for someone to accuse Obama of not changing anything in D.C.

He might get lucky and have this economy come to life at the end of 2009 or 2010. Like Ronald Reagan, it's better later than never!

And yes, there are violent types that vote Democratic as well. But I'd rather hang out with someone that wishes for a American military "defeat" in Iraq and hopes that America's "brave men and women" are demoralized to sub-humans than the types I describe above.

Forget the types. Never did I want to see the United States and her Coalition of the "Willing" lose in Iraq. After three years of terrible decision making finally General David Petraeus started to make much better decisions that President Bush and Donald Rumsfeld had been making all of the time we were fighting and dying. I did think the exploitation of the female trooper was over the top, and also untrue, and I never believed there were WMDs in Iraq for a moment. That was the reason I opposed the endeavor. I hate being lied to and I knew that I was seeing exactly that happen to me. I was incredibly disappointed when Colin Powell stepped in with those two ancient trucks that were supposed to be WMDs trucks (lie) and mentioned those tubes coming into Iraq. Everyone from Los Alamos to Hanford could have told you that those tubes were entire too fragile to be used in any centrifuge, but they just happened to match the dimensions of an Iraq missile system. You lie to me and no matter the outcome, I am going to kick you hind end around the corner a few time. The means do not justify the ends EVER! Never was I so ticked off at a President and lying Cabinet because they were all in it together. That's why McClelland wrote his book, not that he could have stopped this. Bush wanted to invade Iraq, and so instead of concentrating upon our real enemies, we went after our phony ones instead, Look at that place now. It's still not truly safe and we still do not know what form of government it will finally have.

Note: I would warn everyone about Afghanistan. That is no place to fight a conventional war at all. One should employ special forces only who work their way into the Al-Qaeda sanctuaries and the Taliban Stronghold and kill them all as dead as they can possible be. They hate America and they hate Israel the most. The attack upon Mumbai was merely a warning that there's indeed trouble brewing in Pakistan. France,. England, and the USSR have all lost their wars there. I recommend that we do not add out names to this list. why? Because that terrain is quite simply inhospitable and dangerous to the movement of conventional troops.

Obama you be extremely careful here and please do listen to Patreus. This is the war we should have fought and we should have penetrate deeply into Western Pakistan too because that's probably were Obama is hanging out, although God only knows if we will ever get the man alive.

Note: I will give Donald Rumsfeld a great deal of credit for reconfiguring out troops and making them more deadly per man, but that is all.
